Last week the Orbica and AWS team headed to Sydney to kickstart the second of our Australian Roadshow series.

Considering our limited presence in Sydney thus far, it was great to see such a good turn out and even better to see how engaged the audience were.

Led by our phenomenal Australian GM, Rochelle, the roadshow was a great success, and the crowd were excited to be there. Kurt and Santosh joined the event from the live stream and presented a demo that seriously wowed the audience.

For the more commercially minded folk who attended, they were impressed by the value that the AWS Cloud could bring to their business. They were also impressed by the no-user license model that the Orbica Geospatial Platform is built on, and how this can lead to a far more efficient and cost-effective business model.

For the more technical folks, it was the integration capabilities of the Orbica Geospatial Platform that had them jumping up and down (not literally, but almost). The ability to do work that once took them weeks or sometimes even months, in just a matter of minutes, at the push of a button, was revolutionary.
