Ōtautahi you did not disappoint!

Whether it was because the sun was shining or because we were on home turf, our Christchurch Platform Launch Roadshow had a certain buzz about it. It is truly special to be able to show years of hard work to a crowd of 100 people in your hometown, and for them to be as excited about it as you are.

A very big thank you to Spark for helping us organise it all, and a big thank you to everyone for coming out to support.

The room was packed with people, some we knew and some who were completely new faces to us. The team were a little more nervous than previous Roadshows, not wanting to disappoint to home crowd, but they soon jumped into the swing of things and the crowd were blown away.

Talking through the capabilities of the Orbica Geospatial Platform, the power of combining AI, AWS Cloud, and geospatial technologies had the crowd sitting up. But it was the demos which were the home run. The audience were amazed at the breadth of what the Orbica Geospatial Platform can do, as well as its versatility to meet everyone within their organisation’s needs.

However, it’s safe to say that the everyone was most impressed by the value the Orbica Geospatial Platform brings. Its ability to analyse data fast, efficiently, and accurately saves organisations a heap of time and money that can be spent elsewhere.

The audience asked a lot of great questions including the how the no-user license model works, the ability of users to serve work as APIs, and in particular how the AWS Cloud storage impacts their ability to store and manage mega data.

Overall, it was a great day, and the team were thrilled with the response.
